METHOD FOR USER INTERFACE TO SET UP VIEW LIMIT OF DIGITAL TV

PURPOSE: A method for user interface to set up the view limit of a digital TV is provided to implement more convenient user interface by displaying a view limit setup menu and indicating the view limit setup by using icons and background colors. CONSTITUTION: In a digital TV constructed not to display images in case that the images are not appropriate for view limit conditions set up by a user, by receiving rating level information related to TV programs or movies, a method for user interface to set up the view limit of a digital TV includes the steps of classifying TV programs or movies to set up the limit in displaying a view limit setup menu for setting up the view limit according to the rating level; and displaying a sub-menu classified to set up the view limit by the age and contents according to the characteristics of classified TV programs or movies.
