摘要 PURPOSE: A subscriber-based ringback tone service method through the sound resource transmission of an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) is provided to judge an error connection before the response of a termination subscriber and offer various ringback tone substitution sounds suitable for the characteristic of the termination subscriber by providing a specific sound registered or selected by the termination subscriber to a caller instead of the conventional progress tone and ringback tone. CONSTITUTION: If a random caller calls a termination subscriber and requests call connection, a corresponding origination MSC(31) requests termination location information to an HLR(Home Location Register)(10)(S501). The HLR(10) requests routing information to the termination MSC(32) according to the request(S502). The termination MSC(32) provides routing information i.e., a TLDN(Temporary Local Director Number) to the HLR(10)(S503). The HLR(10) provides a response message including predetermined service subscription information about the termination subscriber to the origination MSC(31)(S504). The origination MSC(31) requests code information corresponding to a telephone number of the termination subscriber to an IP server(70)(S505). The IP server(70) searches a sound source code connected to the termination telephone number from a database, and transmits the searched sound source code to the origination MSC(31)(S506). The origination MSC(31) performs the request of a trunk or ISUP(Integrated Services Digital Network User Part) call connection to the termination MSC(32) according to TLDN information in the response message(S507). The origination MSC(31) transmits a previously stored sound source corresponding to received sound source code information to a mobile terminal of the caller, and manages a trunk path to the termination MSC(32)(S508).
