PURPOSE: Base plate structure of a microwave oven is provided to improve the rigidity of the base plate, and to minimize deformation against impact load by increasing the width of the uneven part of the electric component chamber. CONSTITUTION: An electric component chamber part(33) forming the floor of the electric component chamber and a cavity part(33') corresponding to the lower part of a cavity are integrally formed in a plate body(32) of a base plate, and connected by an uneven window part(42). An uneven stress preventive part(50) is formed between the electric component part and the cavity part to shut off transmission of impact. The uneven window part is formed around the edge of the cavity part, and crossed over the electric component chamber part. The rigidity of the base plate is improved, and deformation is minimized by increasing the width of an uneven electric component chamber part(43) relatively.
