A method for transferring computer display resolutions in MPEG2 frames in real time. A digital display signal, which represents an image in computer resolution, is transferred to a memory (6; 6a, 6b), by means of which the frequency values of the display data signal are converted to correspond to the frequency values of the frame used in the MPEG2 image transfer system. Thus, the frequency-converted computer display resolution is encapsulated in the MPEG2 resolution frame as a part of the MPEG2 resolution display, and the MPEG2 resolution frame is employed for transferring computer display resolutions. |
