PURPOSE: A belt of a suit for self-defense exercise having an advantage of replacement by only changing a particular mark element attached to main body of the belt is provided, which also shows degree of practice by classifying grades through the mark element. CONSTITUTION: The belt comprises a main body(101) having at least two colors; existing grade-marking component(102) to demonstrate degree of practice graduated by basic color of the belt; and another marking part attached to a constant location on the existing grade-marking component to classify and demonstrate degree of practice of a self-defense exercise in a form of specified animal characters and badges of rank. The existing grade-marking component(102) may be applied to backside of the main body(101) by means of Velcro type adhesive magic tape(101v). And the main body(101) is covered by front/rear magic tapes(102v,102w) Also, the animal characters of the marking part are any ones selected from 12 zodiacal signs.
