ARM REST APPARATUS INSTALLED ON CHAIR FOR USE WITH PERSONAL COMPUTER

PURPOSE: Provided is an arm rest apparatus capable of being used as an arm rest for computer work by supporting a user's arm with the arm rest apparatus after drawing it from an arm rest body while only used as an arm rest for chair when the user does not use the computer. Because the apparatus can comfortably support the user's arm at a height convenient for operating a key board and mouse of the computer, it reduces the fatigue of the user's arm and allows the user to perform work in a comfortable and correct posture. CONSTITUTION: The arm rest apparatus comprises: an upper receiving space(21) formed at the inner upper part of an arm rest body(2); a lifting guide space(22) formed at the lower part of the upper receiving space to be communicated with the upper receiving space; a link body(4) formed at the interior of the upper receiving space to make possible receiving and drawing; a lifting guide member(3) for guiding the receiving operation and drawing operation of the link body; and an arm rest member(9) formed to permit the upper receiving space to be opened and closed.
