PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for a shoe for a compressor, by which its manufacturing time can be shortened and its manufacturing cost can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: In a cutting process S1, a wire-rod made of JIS SUJ2 steel is cut for its each volume approximately equal to the volume of a desired shoe 8. Then in a forging process S2, a shoe-shaped material 7 is obtained by successively forging a piece 2 of the cut wire-rod with forging dies 13, 23, 33 having three cavities 13c, 23d, 33e. Finally, in a completing process S22, the shoe 8 for a compressor is obtained by subjecting the material 7 to a heat- treatment process S22a, etc. |
