PURPOSE: A vehicle cooling system is provided to prevent deficiency of engine power by reducing load of compressor when the maximum engine output is needed. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle cooling system comprises a compressor; a condenser; an expansion valve(120); an evaporator(118); a liquid receiver; a temperature sensing unit(124); an auxiliary temperature sensing unit(132) which is installed at the entrance of the evaporator and connected to an intermediate portion of a capillary(122) through an auxiliary capillary(134); and a check valve(136) arranged at the auxiliary capillary so as to open/shut the auxiliary capillary. The check valve is open/shut by a relay(138) which operates by the signal output from an electronic control unit(140). The refrigerant passing through the evaporator has a pressure and a temperature which become significantly high at the exit of the evaporator. As a result, refrigerant having the high temperature and pressure is introduced into the compressor, thus reducing load of compressor.
