METHOD FOR DRIVING OPTICAL PICKUP ACTUATOR

PURPOSE: A method for driving an optical pickup actuator is provided to easily install support members at the other part of a bobbin by securing free spaces in both sides of the other part of the bobbin. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving an optical pickup actuator includes the steps of arranging a bobbin on the base to be movable by support members; arranging at least one combined tilt and focus coils for driving the bobbin in a focus direction and in a tilt direction, and at least one track coils for driving the bobbin in a track direction at both sides of the bobbin, and including magnets installed opposite to the combined tilt and focus coils and the track coils; dividing the combined tilt and focus coils into a couple of sets and applying an input signal to each set.
