PURPOSE: A portable device capable of practicing songs and pronunciation is provided to selectively practice songs and pronunciation through one device regenerating music data linguistic data. CONSTITUTION: A portable device capable of practicing songs and pronunciation includes a sound signal processor(41) outputting a sound signal read from a recording medium(10), a mike(50) converting voice of a user into a voice signal, a signal synthesizer(42) receiving and synthesizing the sound signal and the voice signal, a sound output part(43) outputting the synthesized signal, a voice recognizing part(47) receiving and comparing the sound signal and the voice signal, a display(70) displaying the comparison result of the voice recognizing part, a switching element(62) switching the voice signal to be selectively transmitted to the signal synthesizer and the voice recognizing part.
