PURPOSE: Provided is a photo carving sheet for gravestones which binds a photoengraving film to include photo to be carved on the surface of an obsidian sheet so that it relieves condolers of carrying the photo for the deceased. CONSTITUTION: The production process of the photo carving sheet for the gravestones(10) comprises the steps of: (i) scanning photo to be carved; (ii) editing the scanned image by a computer to print out; (iii) using the printed image film to produce the photoengraving film; (iv) washing and drying the photoengraving film; (v) binding the photoengraving film to the surface of the obsidian sheet(21); (vi) spraying an abrasive on the surface of the obsidian sheet to engrave shade or background; and (vii) washing and drying the surface of the obsidian sheet to eliminate extraneous matters.
