The invention relates to a filter cloth made up of polyamide monofilament yarns, meant for separating solid particles from a fluid, such as drilling fluid. According to the invention, the cloth has longitudinal tubular zones meant for inserting some metal bars therethrough in order to fasten the cloth on the supporting frame, said zones being positioned only in the marginal areas and across the width of said cloth.
