PURPOSE: A forming press device is provided to produce a panel without a deformed section by processing a correcting recess when the panel is formed, to exclude a cam press used for correction, and to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION: On the upper end face of a lower die(3), many mounting holes(25) are formed to correct the sectional deformation by processing a correcting recess(23) in the spring back starting portion(S) of a panel. Insert steels(27) are installed in the mounting holes. The insert steel has a protruded portion(37) for processing the correction recess. The correction recess bends the panel when the panel is formed. Thus, the sectional deformation of the panel is suppressed.
