METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING AND SOLVING HANGING OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing and solving hanging of a blast furnace is provided which removes the hanging by early diagnosing hanging of the blast furnace and controlling blast volume in a zone where the hanging is generated. CONSTITUTION: In a method for diagnosing and solving hanging of a blast furnace to diagnose an indication of the hanging due to the stoppage of charging materials charged into the blast furnace and uniformly drop the charging materials into the blast furnace through the settlement of the hanging, the method comprises installing a plural manometers in vertical and circumferential directions of the body of the blast furnace to analyze pressure variation according to height and direction of the inner part of the blast furnace, thereby diagnosing the hanging through reduction of blast blowing energy of the corresponding directions; and controlling blast volume in a zone where the hanging is generated by measuring drop behaviors of the charging materials with sounding during charging of the charging materials after diagnosing the hanging so that drop of the charging materials into the blast furnace is smoothly performed through breaking operation of the hanging.
