PURPOSE: A supporting device for freight of a loading compartment for a vehicle is provided to promote perfect position fixing of all goods and prevent damage of the vehicle body caused by movement of the goods. CONSTITUTION: A supporting device for freight of a loading compartment(S) for a vehicle comprises guide rails(16), a fixing wall member(18), electromagnet members(20), and a switch(22). The guide rails are arranged on a floor panel(14), with separated across the loading compartment. The fixing wall member is installed movably through the guide rails and disposed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. The electromagnet members are fixed to the fixing wall member and attached to the floor panel by the magnetic force generated in applying source of electricity. The switch is on and off to selectively apply source of electricity to the electromagnet member according to the opening and shutting of a flap door.
