METHOD FOR PRODUCING GLASS SUBSTRATE WITH METAL ELECTRODE

A method for producing a glass substrate with metal electrodes which involves forming two or more metal electrodes(2)on a glass substrate(1)containing 1 mole % or more of an alkali metal oxide,and laminating inorganic powder layers(3a,3b)containing 50 mass % or more of a low melting point glass powder so as to cover a part of each metal electrode,followed by firing,wherein the low melting point glass powder contained in the uppermost inorganic powder layer(3b)has a B2O3 content of less than 40 mole % and the inorganic powder layer(3b)has a thickness such that the product resulting from the firing of the inorganic powder layer(3b)has a thickness of 3μm or more.
