PURPOSE: Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties, flame resistance and flowability. CONSTITUTION: The flame resistant thermoplastic resin composition having excellent flame resistance comprises: 30-95 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin; 100 parts by weight of a base resin consisting of 5-70 parts by weight of a polystyrene or a rubber-modified polystyrene resin and 5-40 parts by weight of a styrene/butadiene copolymer resin; 5-20 parts by weight of a phosphorus-based flame retardant represented by formula 1; 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of a fluororesin; and 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of an organometallic compound, wherein each of R1 to R5 independently represents a C6-C20 allyl group containing no halogen or an alkyl-substituted C6-C20 allyl group.
