METHOD OF SEPARATING PARTS FROM SOLID CARBURIZING AGENT AFTER CARBURIZING OR CYANIDING AND DEVICE FOR METHOD EMBODIMENT

FIELD: machine-building and repair industries; applicable in machine parts hardening. SUBSTANCE: after carburizing or cyaniding, removed from furnace carburizing box with parts is unpacked, secured to support concentrically attached to central part of horizontal axle freely rotating with its journals in trunnions on vertical bearings and pressed to support side wall by turning threaded stop. Then threaded stop is removed from journal of horizontal axle for turning-over into sieve to drop carburizing agent into sieve. Sieve is formed of bare in the form of steel strips rectangular in cross-section and connected by pins perpendicular to them. Sieve is installed with its lower edge above upper edge of carburizing box at angle of 40-45 deg. Parts are moved to carburizing box under gravity over bars of sieve located at angle of 40-45 deg. EFFECT: considerable reduction of time from removal of box with parts from furnace to heir hardening, increased parts resistance to wear and service strength. 2 cl, 3 dwg
