A proceedings progress supporting system for assisting an expediter of a conference to provide information for assisting smooth progress of proceedings. The system comprises: an information receiving unit for receiving an input of necessary information for making a schedule of a conference including a schedule time period of the entire conference, a minimum time period to be reserved for a subject, and a desired ordinary time period; and a schedule planning unit for planning the schedule of the conference in accordance with the necessary information received by the information receiving unit.
