FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating an open- angle glaucoma. One should cut a surface scleral rectangular fragment with its foundation facing the limbus up to transparent corneal layers, a triangular fragment is formed inside the developed bottom out of middle scleral layers, a corneoscleral strip is resected, it includes external wall of a Schlemm's canal and peripheral layers of corneal stroma by opening a limbic edge of a Descemet's membrane without opening an anterior chamber. Tamponade of a Schlemm's canal lumen is carried out with a Tenon's membranous fragment. The method enables to exclude possible hemorrhagic complications associated with blood reflux from a Schlemm's canal into operation area. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation. 1 dwg, 1 ex |
