SUBSTANCE: method detects human visual persistence due to applying the sequence of two light impulses of preset duration, for example, 50 msec, divided with a pause of 150 msec duration, repeating in a constant time interval of about 1.5 sec, then pause duration between light impulses should be decreased for the patient to determine the moment of subjective fusion of two light impulses into one. The time for human visual persistence is considered to be equal to pause duration at the moment of subjective fusion of two light impulses into one.
