The invention relates to a culture media for plants and plant cells, tissues and organs containing an organic nitrogen source and a phosphor source in the form of a salified or acid phosphorous ester. The organic nitrogen can come from proteins, protein hydrolysates, peptones, peptides and/or mixtures of amino acids. The invention is suitable for the culture of plants and plant cells, tissues and organs.
