摘要 PURPOSE: A sealing method of a liquid crystal display device is provided to increase the adhesive force after doping a sealant by forming an independent auxiliary alignment film on sealing areas of a substrate, thereby preventing the separation of the substrates in spite of the vibration or impact. CONSTITUTION: A sealing method of a liquid crystal display device includes the steps of preparing a color filter substrate by forming a black matrix and color filter layers on an inner surface of an upper substrate(30a) and attaching a polarization plate(31a) on an outer surface, preparing an array substrate by forming unit pixels in the matrix shape corresponding to the color filter layer forming areas of the color filter substrate on a lower substrate(30b) by the intersection between a plurality of gate and data lines and attaching a polarization plate(31b) on an outer surface, forming alignment films(32a) on the matrix areas of the array substrate and the color filter layers, forming auxiliary alignment films(32b) on sealing areas(39) of at least one of the substrates, and joining the substrates together by forming sealing lines on the auxiliary alignment film.
