FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating dystrophic diseases of retina and an optic nerve. Firstly, one should resect conjunctiva and Tenon's membrane to form a pouch in Tenon's space, then a purse-string suture is applied and a peptide bioregulator is introduced into Tenon's space at 1000-10000 Da molecular weight isolated out of retina or bovine brain cortex, correspondingly, then a purse-string suture is tightened up.
