<p>A liquid crystal display panel having a main display unit and a sub-display unit, wherein phase difference plates and polarizing plates are respectively disposed in layers on the outer sides of two sheets of glass sandwiching the liquid crystals of the main display unit and the sub-display unit, and a reflection layer is provided on the inner side of a sheet of glass on the rear surface side of the main display unit and it is provided on the outer side of a polarizing plate on the front surface side of the sub-display unit. In addition, when a color image is displayed on the main display unit, a thickness correction member for correcting a color filter thickness is disposed in the sub-display unit so as to make uniform the thicknesses of liquid crystal layers. This arrangement can remove the bleeding of a color-displayed pattern in a reflection mode to improve optical characteristics.</p> |
