PURPOSE: A hi-pass card charging system and its method are provided, to allow the hi-pass card to be charged easily and conveniently by using the OBU and the mobile phone wireless network. CONSTITUTION: The hi-pass card charging system comprises a car terminal(10) which reads a hi-pass card charged by some amount of money, can input the charged amount of money to the hi-pass card and can communicate the fee antenna of a toll gate by high frequency wireless communication; a mobile phone(20) which can be connected with the car terminal(10) through an I/O connector; a toll billing server(30) which demands and approves the charged amount of money to the hi-pass card by the wireless communication of a mobile phone(20) connected with the car terminal(10); the Korean Highway Corp. which determines whether the charging demand at the billing server(30) is approved or not; and a financial institution(50) which bills the charging money according to the approval of the Korean Highway Corp. |
