摘要

FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for formation of toe basin if high water flow through high-head water development based predominantly on bedrock is formed. Gravity flow drainage conduit system of pressure-free mode which creates break in continuity of water medium by means of its conduit-forming air space in base of each sealing joint is built in foundation of toe basin. This approach reduces averaged value of hydrodynamic pressure on foot of base and prevents transmission of pressure pulsation over interplate joint to base. EFFECT: raised reliability of toe basin and reduced usage of materials for its construction. 6 cl, 6 dwg
