<p>The invention relates to an electrooptical device which is characterised in that it consists of at least one optical substrate (100) comprising an optical guide (110) and a nematic liquid crystal (200) which is placed against said substrate. According to the invention, the liquid crystal (200) is split into two separate active zones (210, 220) which are used to control respectively the coupling/decoupling of one of the two polarisations TE or TM of an optical signal injected into the guide (110).</p> |
