A multiple-point spot welding rig can follow any curvilinear contour and the spot spacing can be easily altered because the spot welding cylinders are suspended from a chain, guided in a support. The chain is pulled forward by a power cylinder. The spot welding circuit is actuated by a cam switch and a programmed cam rod.
