The invention relates to a transfer element (30) having a first face (E) which is disposed opposite a first optical component (C1) comprising at least one optical guide (G1) and having a second face (S) which is opposite a second optical component (C2). The transfer element is designed to transfer a light wave comprising one or more wavelengths from one of the components to the other. Said transfer element is transparent at least at one of the wavelengths of the light wave and has a refraction index that is greater than the largest of the effective indices associated with the light wave when it is propagated in the first and in the second component. Moreover, the first face of the transfer element comprises at least one coupling/decoupling pattern (M1) which is disposed opposite a part of the guide, said motif being separated from the first component by a distance dg1 that is smaller than the threshold distance ds1 above which no light wave can be transferred from the first component to the transfer element and vice-versa.
