AGENTS FOR TREATING DISEASES CAUSED BY NONSENSE MUTATION

摘要

Compositions for treating diseases caused by nonsense mutation which contain dipeptide-type antibiotics such as negamycin represented by the following fomrula (1). These dipeptide-type antibiotics can induce the expression of a protein having misread the nonsense mutation and matured without bringing about any severe side effects as in the case of aminoglycoside-type antibiotics such as gentamycin.
