PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station system that can enhance services to end users and improve maintenance by a network manager. SOLUTION: In the base station system comprising a network supervisory device for supervising a network, a plurality of base stations for communication with mobile units in its own control area, and a base station controller for controlling a plurality of the base stations, the base station controller is provided with a 2nd information collection start instruction means that instructs a plurality of the base stations to start collection of maintenance and operation information when receiving an instruction of starting collection of the maintenance and operation information. Each base station is provided with an information collection start means that starts collection of the maintenance and operation information with respect to a mobile unit when receiving instruction of start of collection of the information from the base station controller and a particular mobile unit is in its own control area and starts collection of the information with respect to the mobile unit when the base station has already received the information collection start and the particular mobile unit is in its own control area. |
