PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for developing software for protecting relay which reduces the probability of occurrence of errors due to modification of programs, and which is reliable and superior in workability. SOLUTION: The method for developing software is for a human interface portion, which is mounted on a protective relay system for detecting accidents in a power system and protecting the power system, and is provided with the function of indicating various settings on and of the state of the relay system on a display screen. Various types of data, including on-screen display classifying information, character information, and numeric value information, for use in programs for driving the human interface portion is stored in a database. Based on the data stored in the database, programs and a collection of human interface screens are generated automatically. As a result, wrong entry of data during operation is prevented, and the reliability of the relay system is enhanced. Further, due to automatic generation, efficiency of manufacturing is enhanced. |
