PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which enables turning into small size and thin profile to be contrived, under the structure of infinity system using a collimator lens, and which facilitates adjustment in assembling. SOLUTION: A light beam from a semiconductor laser 1 is reflected by a reflecting means 2, so that a parallel light beam is obtained by a collimating means 3, after the optical path is bent. As a result, the direction of emitting an LD 1 can be set in the horizontal direction (direction parallel to an optical recording medium 4) for example, enabling the entire optical system to be small and thin. In addition, since these reflecting means 2 and collimating means 3 are structured as a single unit, there is no need of adjustment in assembling. |
