PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth form for crimping a terminal capable of crimping a terminal for connection without causing stresses to concentrate in any part of the terminal. SOLUTION: The tooth form for crimping the terminal includes an anvil 4 furnished with a terminal receptacle groove 5a at its crimping surface 5, and the terminal 6 is crimping connected to an electric wire by fitting the anvil 4 in a recess 2 provided in a crimper 3, wherein the width of a receptacle surface 5b from each end of the groove 5a to each end of the crimping surface 5 is 1/2 or less the thickness of the terminal 6.
