PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep on-resistances of control switch devices constant and to improve the precision in overcurrent detection. SOLUTION: This battery pack has a secondary battery 1, control switch devices Q1 and Q2 whose on-resistances are varied by the gate voltages, and a protection circuit. The control switch devices Q1 and Q2 are connected in series with the secondary battery 1 between terminals and the voltage of the secondary battery 1, and the voltage between the control switch devices Q1 and Q2 are detected by the protection circuit 2 and the gate voltages of the control switch devices Q1 and Q2 are controlled for ON/OFF. The gate voltages of the control switch devices Q1 and Q2 are controlled, so as not to vary the on-resistances by a constant voltage generating means, which controls the gate voltages of the control switch devices Q1 and Q2 to be constant, and by a temperature control means, which detects the temperatures of at least the control switch devices Q1 and Q2 and controls the gate voltages, according to the detected temperatures. |
