PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object attaching device capable of attaching different kinds of data prepared by different systems according to the intentions of a user. SOLUTION: This object attaching device for attaching an attachment object to an object to be attached selected from among a plurality of data objects is provided with a specifying means 105 for specifying an object to be attached from among those data objects, a storing means 107 for storing the attachment object, and a data attaching means 106 for attaching the attachment object to the object to be attached. The specifying means specifies the object to be edited by a user among the data objects displayed on a computer screen 102 as the object to be attached. When the user is referring to or editing the data object, the attachment data are attached to the data object.
