PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption cold and hot water device and a method for controlling it in which cooling, heating operations and a hot water supply are carried out by effectively using exhaust gas and exhaust heat discharge from a high temperature regenerator. SOLUTION: The absorption cold and hot water device comprises an absorption cold and hot water machine having a heating mechanism for burning fuel as a heating source and an exhaust heat boiler. The exhaust heat boiler GB includes a heating mechanism using combustion exhaust gas discharge from the high temperature regenerator GH as a heating source 4A and a heating mechanism using exhaust heat 4B from an engine and a gas turbine as a heating source. The GB is provided with a hot water supply heat exchanger W1 communicating with a vapor part. A low temperature regenerator GL is provided with a heater La by vapor from the GB and a heater Lb by refrigerant vapor generated in the GH. In a refrigerant passage, a second hot water supply heat exchanger W2 communicating with the vapor part of the GH can be provided. A system having the GH and W2 can be provided with a separating mechanism for separating it from a cooling and heating system. |
