PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for joining a lean-to roof and a wall together, which allow a facing material to be pre-mounted on a side surface of the wall to a vicinity of an upper end of a roof surface material in a factory when the lean-to roof is mounted on the wall. SOLUTION: The structure for joining the lean-to roof 1 and the wall 2 together, wherein the lean-to roof 1 is mounted on the side surface of the wall 2, is equipped with the roof surface material 10 which is constituted in such a manner that a plurality of horizontally adjacent metal plates 11 are joined to one another by seams 11, so as to integrally cover a top surface of the lean-to roof 1 and a part of the side surface of the wall 2, the facing material 4 which is mounted on the side surface of the wall 2 above the upper end 12 of the material 10, a first cover material 30 which covers a surface of the upper end 12, and a waterproof sheet 20 which is mounted on a part, on the back side of a lower end of the facing material 4, of the side surface of the wall 2 in order to cover a joint between the cover material 30 and the wall 2. |
