<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simple high-speed irreversible encoding of high image quality and high compressibility irrelevantly to the contents of an image. SOLUTION: A pixel value variation processing part 200 corrects the value of a pixel of interest of an input image 300 so that a code generated by an encoding processing part 220 becomes small and outputs the corrected pixel value. When predictive encoding is used, the same pixel value as a pixel value that a predictor predicts is outputted and when arithmetical encoding is used, such a pixel value that a superior symbol can be obtained by mathematical encoding is outputted. The encoding processing part 220 generates the code 340 from the varied pixel value 310. The pixel value variation processing part 2009 generates the error value 320 between the value of the pixel of interest and the varied pixel value 3109 and an error distribution processing part 210 generates an error distribution value 330 from the error value 320 and adds it to the pixel value of the input image 300.</p> |
