PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signpost for safety with excellent safety and workability, easily installed and removed and minimizing damage without being dragged by a wheel or the like even when a passing vehicle contacts or collides with the signpost by accident. SOLUTION: This signpost for safety comprises a plate-like base part 2 and a plate-like marker part 3 formed of an elastic body detachably erected with prescribed fastening force at the base part 2. As a means for applying the prescribed fastening force, there is a combination of a pair of magnets, or a magnet and a ferromagnetic body provided at the contact parts of the base part 2 and marker part 3, or a hook-and-loop fastener fitted to the contact faces of the base part 2 and marker part 3, or fitting between the base part 2 and marker part 3.
