<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator that has superior electrical performance level and can be assembled as components accurately at low costs, and to provide an ink jet head using the piezoelectric actuator, and to provide a method for manufacturing the piezoelectric actuator and ink jet head. SOLUTION: In a cutting process 55, a laminate 111 which is manufactured in a lamination process 54 is cut for each piezoelectric actuator 20, thus suspending an electrode extension section 33c on the cut surface in the laminating direction of each piezoelectric actuator 20, and forming each electrode suspension section 31Xa on the side of each piezoelectric actuator 20. Additionally, since the electrode extension section is formed side by side in the laminating direction, it appears as though the electrode hanging section 31Xa formed ranges in a strip. The cut laminate 111a undergoes burning, electrode formation, and polarization treatment processes 56, 57, and 58 to turn into the actuator 20, the electrode suspension section 31Xa is used as a positioning mark, and a cavity plate 10 is laminated in an assembly process 59.</p> |
