<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner excellent in durability and anti-offsetting property and to provide a method for producing the color toner. SOLUTION: The color toner comprises a bonding resin, a releasing agent, a colorant and an additive, the melting point of the releasing agent is 60-115 deg.C and the content of the releasing agent in the toner is 1-20 wt.%. The volume median particle diameter of the color toner is 5-15μm and the content of particles of <=3μm particle diameter is <=5% by number. The method for producing the color toner has a step for comminuting and classifying a mixture obtained by melting and kneading at least the bonding resin, the releasing agent having 60-115 deg.C melting point and the colorant and mixing the resulting kneaded material with the additive.</p> |
