PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized piezoelectric oscillator which outputs a sinusoidal wave signal. SOLUTION: Since the piezoelectric oscillator 10 is provided with a Colpitts type piezoelectric oscillation circuit provided with a transistor for oscillation and a negative feedback amplification circuit, the base of the transistor for oscillation is connection with the input end of the negative feedback amplifying circuit; in order to obtain sinusoidal wave signals, a resonance circuit is not required, full miniaturization is enabled.
