摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air charging device for an internal combustion engine capable of reducing flow passage resistance in an air charging passage to respective intake valves formed in a cylinder head, minimizing unevenness of the flow passage resistance in the air charging passage for the respective intake valves, securing a space at a side part of the engine, and capable of reducing the number of part items of air charging system in a four-cycle internal combustion engine having plural intake valves per cylinder. SOLUTION: A crankcase air charging passage extending along the plural cylinders is provided inside one side of a crankcase. An air charging outlet thereof opens at a top surface of the crankcase. A cylinder head air charging passage is formed by individually connecting the respective intake valves and an air charging inlet opening at a lower surface of the cylinder head to the cylinder head. The air charging inlet of the cylinder head air charging passage is connected to the air charging outlet of the crankcase air charging passage inside the crankcase and the cylinder head respectively.
