摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger and a heat exchange apparatus using the former wherein whilst it is light weight and compact, a heat transfer area to a heat medium is kept larger with enough heat exchange efficiency and with the reduced heat exchange. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 1 has a structure where a metal flow passage plate 3 in which a maze-shaped flow passage is formed is enclosed with a metal shell 4 while making an internal contact with the same. Further, for the metal flow passage plate 3 there is first formed a heat exchange plate 2, where many arch-shaped fins 5 are provided, protruded on a metal plate, which fins provide through-holes 5a communicating the surface and back of the metal plate. The heat exchange plates 2 are overlapped such that the upper surfaces 5b of the foregoing arch-shaped fins 5 are brought into contact with each other, whereby the foregoing maze-shaped flow passage communicated with each other is formed inside and outside of the heat exchange plate.
