PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for collecting menstrual discharge and/or vaginal secretion simply without being accompanied by a mental pain of a female patient. SOLUTION: This collecting instrument of the menstrual discharge and/or the vaginal secretion has a form of a sanitary napkin or a tampon, and includes at least a menstrual discharge and/or vaginal secretion collecting member comprising material to which the menstrual discharge and/or the vaginal secretion adhere. The menstrual discharge and/or vaginal secretion collecting member equipped with a menstrual discharge absorbing member are arranged on the position in contact with the menstrual discharge absorbing member. The menstrual discharge and/or the vaginal secretion collected by the collecting instrument are served for diagnosis of a life habitual disease, a cancer, an infection or the like.
