PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional switching hub being unable to having properly processed data, requiring high real time performance such as voice packets in broadcasting. SOLUTION: The switching hub used in a network is provided with a PHY section 1, that receives packets including destination information with respect to a destination and has ports 1-L for transmitting the received packets; a port priority control section 4 that keeps the transmission priority as to the ports 1-L depending on the connection state; and a switch section 2 that inspects the destination information of the received packets and instructs the PHY section 1 for the order of the ports 1-L for transmitting the received packets, on the basis of the stored transmission priority, when the result of inspection denotes that the destination information is information for broadcasting to the network.
