PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone set capable of reducing power consumption, while suppressing cost increase. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone set is provided with an illumination part 108 for illumination, a light sensor 105 for detecting light, and a power-saving control part 107 which detects whether the set is busy not and dims illumination at the part 108, when the detection is performed and the brightness of light is equal to or smaller than a threshold. |
