<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information relaying device comprising integration of a cable modem and a wireless relaying device that selects a CATV(cable television) network or a wired transmission means for a connection means to an external network. SOLUTION: The information relay device comprises the integration of the cable modem and the wireless relaying device, can wirelessly connect a CATV network to a terminal and also connect the CATV network to the terminal via a wired LAN, has a function of an access point with the function of relaying data communication between a plurality of terminals, is configured to be connected not only to the CATV network but also connected to an external network from at least one connection port among connection ports for the wired LAN and is provided with a changeover means of external connection means provided to its main body.</p> |
